Our statement of faith
Christian theology is like a river, flowing from a source.
OneLife seeks to stand in this river and draw from its sources, commonly recognized as the Apostles’ Creed, the Nicene-Constantinopolitan Creed, and the Chalcedonian Definition.

As an expression of those creeds in contemporary times, we specifically affirm:
The only true God, the almighty Creator of all things,
existing eternally in three persons, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit,
full of life, love, and goodness.
The unique divine inspiration,
entire trustworthiness
and authority of the Bible.
The value and dignity of all people:
created in God’s image to live in love and holiness,
but corrupted by the fall,
alienated from God and each other because of our sin,
and experiencing the wrath of God.
Jesus Christ, fully human and fully divine,
who reveals the Father perfectly,
who lived as humanity’s perfect representative,
who judged the corruption of sin within himself,
who cleansed his human nature through his life, death, and bodily resurrection,
who ascended as Savior and Lord,
and who stands as humanity’s representative before the Father.
The Holy Spirit, the lord of life
who indwells believers, joining them to Jesus Christ
who shares with believers the transforming life and power of Christ,
who restores relations intended by God from creation,
and who empowers men and women for leadership in the church and service in the world.
Justification in Jesus Christ by the Spirit to all who repent
and put their faith in Jesus Christ alone for salvation.
The unity of all believers in Jesus Christ by the Spirit,
manifest in worshiping and witnessing churches,
making disciples throughout the world.
The future personal return and victorious reign of Jesus Christ,
who will renew the creation,
who will reveal the secrets of all,
who will judge all people by their responses to him,
who will continue to condemn the corruption within the unrepentant,
but continue to welcome those who receive Him into the eternal life, love, and goodness of the Triune God.
May God be glorified forever.
