Going Local in Antioch - Gyro Plus

In this post, we're going to highlight the Gyro Plus restaurant on the corner of Murfreesboro Pike and Bell Rd. It was started by a group of enterprising friends back in 2018. They not only wanted to work for themselves, they also wanted to employ others from the community as they provided quality, well portioned Mediterranean foods.

The principal owner works behind the counter with a smile on his face, serving each customers unique requests to fit their tastes. Their restaurant serves lunch and dinner and will be serving breakfast in the near future. They fill both dine in and carry out orders, and customers can make their orders online or through options like Uber Eats and Doordash.

As followers of Jesus, we also appreciate the Christian faith of the owners as they serve with kindness and excellence. When asked how we could pray for their business to flourish, he responded, "That we can grow and serve more people."

My (Tim) favorite dish here is the Shawarma Salad, while Tiffany's favorite is the Falafel Salad. If you get a chance, definitely stop by and try it out. Tell them we sent you :-)
